Nate Sluss, CPA
During the past ten years, Mr. Sluss has held client service roles working for high-finance and public accounting firms providing a range of financial services to both private equity and publicly-held business entities. As part of his experiences in public accounting, Nate worked with client engagements related to SEC filings, technical financial reporting, asset valuations, transaction advisory services, IPO readiness, FP&A, policy compliance, litigation support, and a range of other technical areas. Nate also has robust professional experience in relationship management, business acquisitions, fundamental financial analysis, credit management, working capital analysis, and business solvency workouts.
Early in his career, Nate held formal roles in wholesale mortgage lending and commercial real estate asset management for several years before he encountered his first opportunity in banking. Following those experiences Nate worked for SunTrust Bank for five years in the Corporate and Investment Banking division, where he held underwriting and portfolio management responsibilities associated with corporate loan portfolios within the consumer and retail industry vertical. Nate later transitioned his career into public accounting as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP where he spent several years in their Financial Services Office practice specializing in Banking and Capital Markets financial statement audit and technology compliance reporting engagements. As an auditor, his services were primarily targeted toward the emergent Fintech space.
